Sydney Satz

Attorney

Sydney Satz is a Florida-licensed attorney whose practice focuses on land use, local government law, code enforcement, construction law, complex business disputes, constitutional law, and administrative law.

She earned her law degree from Shepard College of Law, where she graduated cum laude and was awarded the prestigious Book Award in Administrative Law. During law school, Sydney was selected for an internship through the American Bar Association to serve as judicial intern to the Honorable Judge Christine Bandin of the Eleventh Judicial Circuit.

Since entering practice, Sydney has built a broad litigation and advisory practice representing individuals, property owners, and businesses in complex disputes involving public and private constructions projects, land use and zoning matters, and regulatory enforcement. She has regularly appeared in code enforcement hearings and administrative matters before special magistrates and local governing bodies throughout South Florida, including Hollywood, Miami Beach, Miami-Dade County, Hallandale, Fort Lauderdale, Southwest Ranches, Dania Beach, Wellington, Davie, and Delray Beach, as well as in Florida circuit courts.

Her litigation experience is also extensive, having first-chaired several trials, taken and defended numerous depositions, and obtained countless positive outcomes at hearings held in courts throughout South Florida. Nor is Sydney a stranger to achieving acceptable pre-trial resolutions for her clients, having resolved numerous matters through mediation.

Prior to joining her current firm, Sydney was a lead attorney at a boutique, Fort Lauderdale-based law firm specializing in local government and land use disputes.

Sydney is admitted to practice in Florida state courts and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida.

Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with her family, watching films, and relaxing with her two French bulldogs: Winnie and Penny.
